Published: Nov 06, 2026 14:30 (GMT+8)
Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said on November 5 that the government would continue offering tax holidays to attract investment despite the implementation of the global minimum tax. He noted that several countries had yet to implement the framework, while others continued to offer tax incentives. Airlangga added that the global minimum tax would remain a topic for discussion in connection with trade agreements, including the planned agreement with the European Union. No nickel-specific incentive changes were announced in the report.
