[SMM Recycled Rare Earth Weekly Review: Scrap Pr-Nd Stops Falling and Rebounds, Rebound Awaits Transaction Follow-Through] Overall, scrap Pr-Nd prices fell first and then rose this week, edging down for the full week. Recycling enterprises adjusted their purchase quotes in line with the fluctuations on the oxide side. Suppliers showed little willingness to sell at low prices and mostly adopted a wait-and-see stance, with market transactions remaining sluggish throughout. In the short term, scrap Pr-Nd prices are expected to continue fluctuating in tandem with the oxide side. Whether the rebound can be sustained will depend on the follow-through of transactions in the oxide market, and the wait-and-see sentiment in the market is unlikely to ease significantly in the near term.

[SMM Rare Earth Weekly Review: Pr-Nd Chain Rebounds After Sharp Decline; Medium-Heavy Rare Earths Continue to Diverge] As of today, Pr-Nd oxide prices have moved lower before rebounding: early in the week, prices moved sideways, then, dragged by continued weakness in futures, accelerated downward mid-week to an intraweek low of 697,000-700,000 yuan/mt. At that point, many suppliers suspended quotations, while metal plants, uncertain about the raw material outlook, shifted to negotiating purchases order by order and only restocked against current orders. Today, offer prices quickly revised upward, rebounding sharply to 710,000-714,000 yuan/mt and reclaiming the 710,000 yuan/mt level.
