Major East China Smelter Successfully Sells Several Tonnes of Crude Selenium in Public Auction

SMM News, October 14: According to official sources from a major smelter in East China, several metal tonnes of crude selenium offered for public sale recently were successfully sold today.

SMM understands that the official party declined to disclose the identity of the winning buyer, but stated that the final transaction price was slightly below RMB 145,000 per tonne. The achieved price remains in line with prevailing market levels, and the tender outcome was within market expectations.
