On October 12, Jinko Solar announced the formal signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with SANDISOLA to jointly develop an off-grid solar energy storage demonstration project in Myanmar.
The project is located on Myeik Island in the Tanintharyi Region of Myanmar, an area without a main power grid. It will deploy 20.7 MW of Jinko Tiger Pro 3 high-efficiency PV modules, paired with a 29.26 megawatt-hour ESS. Jinko Solar will provide an integrated PV+ESS solution for the project.
