[SMM PV News] TrinaSolar Energy Storage Partners with Clarke Energy and Temporis Capital to Further Upgrade Cooperation on Three Major UK BESS Projects

On October 12, TrinaSolar announced it has supplied a 3 megawatt-peak PV system for Corona Resort on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. The project uses TrinaSolar Vertex N 725-watt modules, equipped with a 10 megawatt hour TrinaSolar Elementa King Kong 2 BESS. Commercial operation and power grid connection are planned for mid-September. The project builds on the resort's existing 5.5 megawatt PV assets, adding 3 megawatts of TOPCon Vertex N modules and a 10 megawatt hour TrinaSolar Elementa King Kong 2 energy storage system.

On October 12, Jinko Solar announced the formal signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with SANDISOLA to jointly develop an off-grid solar energy storage demonstration project in Myanmar. The project is located on Myeik Island in the Tanintharyi Region of Myanmar, an area without a main power grid. It will deploy 20.7 MW of Jinko Tiger Pro 3 high-efficiency PV modules, paired with a 29.26 megawatt-hour ESS. Jinko Solar will provide an integrated PV+ESS solution for the project.

On October 11, GCL Group Chairman Zhu Gongshan, Executive President and President of the Africa Industry Group Wang Dong, and their delegation visited China Gas’s Shenzhen headquarters, where they held discussions with China Gas Board Chairman and President Liu Minghui, Vice President Xu Huilin, and others. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics including the globalization of natural gas and new energy industries, green energy production and application, and LNG market development and trade cooperation along the Belt and Road routes. They also conducted comprehensive discussions on deepening complementary advantages and expanding the scope of cooperation both within China and internationally.
