[SMM PV Flash] Romania’s 1.3 GWp Dama Solar Project Secures EUR 561 Million Financing

Published: Oct 06, 2026 09:46 (GMT+8)
Rezolv Energy has signed up to EUR 561 million of green project financing from a 14-lender consortium for the 1.3 GWp Dama Solar project in western Romania, enabling the asset to move directly into construction. Total investment is estimated at approximately EUR 728 million, with 520 MW supported by Romanian contracts for difference and additional output covered by a corporate power purchase agreement, while annual generation is expected to reach around 1,800 GWh. Commercial operation is targeted for the second half of 2028, so the milestone represents financial close and construction readiness rather than commissioned capacity.
