[SMM Computing Power News] 32 units of 910B3 online at 16,000, same price as 910B2

SMM has learned that 32 units of 910B3 online cloud resources have appeared on the market for lease, quoted at 16,000 yuan per unit per month, identical to today's online quote for the 910B2. Previously, this model's online resources were also quoted at 16,000 yuan, with prices highly stable; meanwhile, relocatable resources have reached 19,000 yuan, resulting in an online-offline price spread of 3,000 yuan and a relocatable premium of 19%. SMM believes that the higher-spec 910B3 has not commanded a premium in online channels, and the inversion between specifications and prices persists, indicating that online resources are effectively priced based on delivery method rather than model performance.

SMM, September 17: A batch of 64 units of 910B4 online cloud resources appeared on the market for rent, quoted at 15,000 yuan per unit per month. Previously, online quotes for batches of 40 units and 32 units of this model were both 15,000 yuan. This batch has expanded to 64 units, roughly double the size of the earlier batches, with no discount on price. SMM believes that batch size has not factored into pricing, reflecting tight spot supply of domestic computing power and no need for holders to offer volume discounts to clear inventory, which is also consistent with the recent absence of a price spread between different contract tenors.

[SMM Computing Power News] A800 40G online rental at 18,000, on par with relocatable 910B4

SMM learned that six A800 40G online cloud resources appeared on the market for rent, quoted at 18,000 yuan per unit per month, unchanged from the previous online quote for this model. Compared with the relocatable quote of 20,000 yuan for the 910B4 in the same period and the online price of 15,000 yuan for the 910B4, the A800 40G falls between the two; its memory is only 40G, lower than the 64G of the 910B4. SMM believes that at the same price level, domestic cards offer more advantageous memory and computing power configurations, and the cost-effectiveness of the A800 is being squeezed by domestic alternatives, with pricing for older models increasingly dependent on the scarcity of existing inventory rather than performance.
