[SMM PV Flash] Level 1 Energy Efficiency! Gokin Solar Module Receives Highest Rating Certification Under Mandatory National Standard

Recently, two of Gokin Solar's crystalline silicon PV modules successfully passed authoritative testing by the National Center of Supervision and Inspection on Solar Photovoltaic Product Quality (CPVT) and obtained energy efficiency certification under the mandatory national standard GB 47834-2026, "Minimum Allowable Values of Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades for Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules and Inverters." Among them, the GK-3-72HGF-670M full-screen single-glass module achieved the industry's highest energy efficiency Grade 1, while the GK-4-66HTBD-645M double-glass module was rated energy efficiency Grade 2, once again earning national-level official endorsement for the product's robust capabilities.

On September 7, the Yancheng Ecological Environment Bureau in Jiangsu Province publicly announced the ecological environment impact report for the first-phase 300,000 kW project of the Longyuan Jiangsu Dafeng H12# 500,000 kW wind and solar co-located offshore PV project. The content shows that Longyuan Jiangsu Dafeng H12 is one of the wind and solar co-located pilot projects selected in the Implementation Plan for Offshore PV Development and Construction in Jiangsu Province (2025-2030), and one of the major projects in Jiangsu Province in 2026. The project is located in Dafeng District, Yancheng City, and is being developed by Longyuan New Energy (Yancheng Dafeng) Co., Ltd. It will be implemented in two phases, with the first phase having a development capacity of approximately 300 MW and the second phase approximately 200 MW. The offshore booster station and export submarine cables will be constructed in a single effort during the first phase (with reserved connection conditions for the second phase). The scope of this environmental assessment covers only the first-phase 300 MW project. The first-phase 300 MW project obtained the Jiangsu Province investment project filing certificate on May 28, 2026. The project is located within the western zone of the site of the completed and operational Longyuan Jiangsu Dafeng 200 MW offshore wind power project. It involves the construction of a new 303.6 MW offshore PV power station, including a PV array with a DC-side installed capacity of 364.1616 MW, a 220 kV offshore booster station, on-site collector lines, and two 220 kV submarine cable circuits. The project developer is Longyuan New Energy (Yancheng Dafeng) Co., Ltd. The controlling shareholder of the company is Longyuan Power, which is a controlled subsidiary of China Energy Investment Corporation.

Recently, China Energy International Group, China Power Engineering Consulting Group Southwest Electric Power Design Institute, and China Energy Engineering Group Construction Co., Ltd., as a consortium, successfully signed the EPC contract for the Midelt Phase I PV+ESS project in Morocco. It is understood that the project is located in the Midelt region of Morocco, primarily involving the construction of a PV plant of approximately 630 megawatts and an electrochemical energy storage system of 1,300 megawatt hours. The scope of work covers survey and design, equipment supply, construction and installation, commissioning, and related services. Notably, upon completion, the project will become the largest single-site PV+ESS project in Africa.

At 19:25 on September 10, the Datang Shichengzi 100 MW "CSP + PV" integrated clean energy demonstration project, EPC-contracted by a consortium of China Energy Engineering Group Northwest Electric Power Design Institute and Northwest Electric Power Construction No. 3 Company, successfully completed its 168-hour trial run. All unit operating parameters were stable, key technical indicators were excellent, and the project is now officially ready for commercial operation. Located in the Shichengzi PV park in Yizhou District, Hami, Xinjiang, the project is part of China's third batch of large-scale wind and solar power bases in desert, Gobi, and wasteland areas, one of Xinjiang's first "CSP + PV" integrated demonstration projects, and China's first large-scale linear Fresnel molten salt CSP plant with 100% localisation of core equipment. The project is equipped with 260,000 reflector mirrors, a heat collection area of 800,000 m², and 8 hours of molten salt energy storage duration. Leveraging the peak-shaving characteristics of CSP with thermal energy storage, it can effectively smooth fluctuations in new energy power generation, deliver stable and continuous power supply, and address the intermittency challenges of wind and solar power. Once in operation, the project is expected to generate an average of 146 million kWh of electricity annually, with an equivalent utilisation of 1,465 hours. It will save 521,000 mt of standard coal and reduce CO₂ emissions by 1.353 million mt each year, delivering significant ecological and social benefits. At the same time, it will effectively improve new energy consumption levels, safeguard regional energy supply, and explore viable pathways for the large-scale development of renewable energy and the transformation and upgrading of China's energy structure.
