Recently, Gokin Solar officially became a member enterprise of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), committing to support the UNGC's Ten Principles in the four areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. As a PV manufacturing enterprise dedicated to global sustainable development, Gokin Solar has always adhered to long-termism and social value creation, systematically advancing ESG governance, earnestly fulfilling corporate social responsibility, and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

[Solar: Suniva closes USD 835 million raise to expand US cell capacity to 5.5 GW]
US solar cell maker Suniva has completed an USD 835 million debt and equity financing round to fund construction of its second monocrystalline silicon cell plant in Laurens County, South Carolina. The 4.5 GW facility represents an investment of about USD 600 million and is expected online in late 2027 with full ramp in 2028, lifting Suniva's total US cell capacity to 5.5 GW including its existing 1 GW Norcross, Georgia line. Most of the planned output is covered by long-term offtake agreements, and the project is expected to create about 564 advanced manufacturing jobs.

Trinasolar will supply its Vertex N 730-735W n-type TOPCon modules for the 562 MWdc (450 MWac) Dau Tieng 5 floating solar project in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam, developed by DT5.1 Energy of Xuan Cau Holdings and scheduled for commercial operation in December 2027 with expected annual output of about 808 GWh. The project is among the first to implement Vietnam's Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) mechanism and follows Trinasolar's 50.6 MW Dam Tra O floating project in 2020.
