DCE: Adjusts trading limits for iron ore futures contracts
On September 7, the Dalian Commodity Exchange issued an announcement: After study and decision, starting from the trading session on September 9, 2026 (i.e., from the night session on September 8), non-futures company members or clients may not open more than 5,000 lots per day across all iron ore futures contracts. The daily open position limit refers to the sum of buy-open and sell-open positions of non-futures company members or clients in a single iron ore futures contract on that day. Hedging and market-making open positions are not subject to the limit. Accounts with actual control relationships are managed as a single account. The exchange will adjust trading limits based on market conditions.
