Green Hydrogen Project Tracking—Suqing 5MW Containerized Hydrogen Production Equipment Successfully Shipped to Support the Construction of the First Integrated Oil, Gas, Hydrogen, Electricity, and Storage Energy Station in Northwest China

Recently, Suzhou Suqing Hydrogen Production Equipment Co., Ltd. completed the shipment of a 5MW containerized hydrogen production system tailored for direct green electricity connection and off-peak power consumption scenarios. This equipment will provide a stable supply of high-grade green hydrogen for the first "five-in-one" integrated energy station in Northwest China, combining oil, gas, hydrogen, electricity, and storage, supporting the full-speed construction of a multi-energy integration demonstration project in the region.

Previously, the 11th issue of Qiushi published an important article titled "Forward-Looking Layout and Development of Future Industries," which explicitly identified hydrogen energy and nuclear fusion as strategic future industries, proposed promoting the hydrogen energy industry to become a new economic growth point, and charted the course for the development of China's green hydrogen sector. Suqing's project implementation is a concrete practice of closely following the national strategic deployment.

Factory-prefabricated integrated design reshapes green hydrogen project delivery standards

The 5MW hydrogen production system delivered this time adopts a fully standardized containerized integration solution, with all piping and cables between the electrolysis unit, gas-liquid separation, and hydrogen purification unit pre-assembled and connected within the factory, truly achieving "factory prefabrication, installation upon arrival." Compared with traditional on-site split construction methods, the containerized integrated solution significantly reduces the project's on-site footprint and markedly shortens on-site installation and joint commissioning cycles. The equipment strictly complies with industry safety standards while also incorporating industrial aesthetic design, achieving a unity of practicality, safety, and appearance quality.

Complete hydrogen production and refueling closed loop ensures stable operation of 50 hydrogen buses

After producing high-purity green hydrogen, this green hydrogen equipment will be paired with a 70MPa ionic hydrogen compression system independently developed by a leading domestic hydrogen energy enterprise to complete high-pressure boosting and filling, stably supplying the station's hydrogen refueling terminal. It can fully meet the daily refueling needs of 50 hydrogen fuel cell buses, opening up the complete green transportation industry chain of "green electricity hydrogen production — high-pressure hydrogen storage — bus hydrogen refueling."

Dual-line delivery in China and overseas continues to strengthen green hydrogen equipment competitiveness

Beyond the steady implementation of domestic demonstration projects, Suqing's overseas business is also accelerating. Shortly before the shipment of this 5MW equipment, the company completed the delivery of high-efficiency, energy-saving electrolyzers customized for the Bangladesh market, leveraging its mature hydrogen production equipment solutions to continuously support the implementation of renewable energy hydrogen production projects in China and overseas.

With strong top-level policy support and continuous release of market demand in China and overseas, the green hydrogen industry is embracing new opportunities for high-quality development. Suqing will continue to deepen its core technology in water electrolysis for hydrogen production, iterate its containerized standardized hydrogen production equipment, and focus on diverse scenarios such as wind and solar off-peak power hydrogen production, integrated energy stations, and green hydrogen substitution in chemical and metallurgical industries.
