ERI Sets Q1 2027 Start for Vietnam E-Waste Recycling JV with Domestic-Only Feedstock Strategy

Published: Aug 24, 2026 09:25
ERI has provided new details on its 50:50 ERI Vietnam e-waste recycling joint venture, confirming operations are scheduled to begin in Q1 2027 with ITAD, small-scale shredding and battery collection. Collection, logistics and processing capabilities are targeted for further expansion by end-2028. Importantly, ERI said it follows a domestic-only feedstock model, meaning the Vietnam operation will source locally rather than import cross-border e-waste, reflecting a broader push to retain critical secondary materials within national markets.
