[Copper Clad Laminate Customs Data] According to data from the General Adninistration of Customs, in July 2026, China's imports of coper clad laminate (HS code 74102110) were 4,091.67 mt, up 26.55% YoY and up 26.03% M. ; from January to July 2026, China's cumulative imports of coper clad laminate were 24,607.69 mt, up 6.89% YoY. In July 2026, China's exports of coper clad lamate were 8,905.19 mt, up 23.17% YoY and down 4.47% M; from January to July 2026, China's cumulative exports of coper clad lamate were 57,990.65 mt, up 12.58% YoY.

[Copper Anode Imports] According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in July 2026, China’s copper anode imports from Zambia were 28,500 mt, accounting for 37.23% of total imports, up 3.22% MoM and down 22.76% YoY. Copper anode imports from the DRC were 19,700 mt, accounting for 25.76%, down 17.66% MoM and up 99.68% YoY. Copper anode imports from South Africa were 6,800 mt, accounting for 8.93%, up 26.95% MoM and up 43.56% YoY.

[SMM Copper Anode Market] Due to the relatively tight supply of tax-included copper scrap, the operating rate of China's secondary copper anode producers fell 3.93 percentage points WoW to 46.47% in the week of August 14-20. It is expected to decline by 0.62 percentage points WoW next week to 45.85%.
