LG Energy Solution Begins Operations at Michigan Lansing Plant

LG Energy Solution announced on August 18 that it held an opening ceremony for its Michigan Lansing plant.

The plant will operate as a mixed manufacturing hub producing both LFP batteries for energy storage systems (ESS) and ternary batteries for electric vehicles. It is expected to secure total annual battery cell production capacity of more than 35 GWh.
