China Automobile Dealers Association: Auto Dealer Inventory Coefficient Stood at 1.48 in July

On August 10, the China Automobile Dealers Association released the findings of its July 2026 Auto Dealer Inventory Survey. The comprehensive auto dealer inventory coefficient stood at 1.48 in July, down 6.3% month‑on‑month and up 9.6% year‑on‑year. According to the auto‑market scan data released by CPCA under the association, retail sales of passenger vehicles nationwide reached 1.506 million units in July. Based on this figure, the total dealer inventory at end‑July stood at roughly 2.20 million units, with overall channel inventory decreasing compared with end‑June.
