[Storage: Mirova invests EUR 150mn in Yanara’s Australian renewable pipeline]

Published: Jul 28, 2026 09:35
Australian renewable energy developer Yanara has secured a EUR 150 million investment from Mirova to accelerate more than 2GW of utility-scale renewable projects across Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. The funding will support Yanara’s Australian solar, wind and battery storage portfolio, including the Mortlake Energy Hub in Victoria, a hybrid project combining 450MW of solar PV with 600MW/2,400MWh of battery storage. Yanara is developing 5.1GW of hybrid and dispatchable renewable energy projects across Australia, India and the Philippines. SMM believes large-scale solar-plus-storage and dispatchable renewable projects in Australia continue to attract international capital, with storage becoming central to financing and grid value.
