Eagle Mountain Mining has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Japan’s Nittetsu Mining to jointly identify and assess new mineral projects, building on their existing partnership at the Oracle Ridge project in Arizona. The cooperation will primarily target copper, gold, lead, lithium, nickel, silver and zinc opportunities in Australia and North America.
The companies will consider projects ranging from early-stage exploration to advanced exploration, pre-development and producing assets. The MoU has an initial term of 24 months, is non-exclusive and does not require either party to complete a transaction. The partnership is intended to combine Eagle Mountain’s project development capabilities with Nittetsu Mining’s technical expertise and potential funding capacity to expand their pipeline of lead, zinc and other strategic mineral assets.
