Argentine local media outlet El Tribuno reported on July 19 local time that POSCO’s Phase 2 lithium carbonate plant at Sal de Oro is expected to be completed in early August and begin full-scale operations.
With the start-up of the Phase 2 facility, POSCO will strengthen its lithium carbonate production capacity and lay the foundation for establishing an annual production system of 100,000 mt in the future.
