Weather conditions across the major nickel-producing regions are expected to remain generally manageable over the coming week. Central Sulawesi (Morowali), Southeast Sulawesi (Kolaka/Konawe), and Halmahera (Weda) are forecast to experience scattered light to moderate showers with occasional thunderstorms, particularly during the second half of the week. Rainfall is expected to be intermittent, with no indication of prolonged heavy rainfall that would significantly disrupt mining or shipping operations. Zambales is likely to remain the wettest among the monitored regions, with more frequent showers and thunderstorms, especially around 22–24 July, increasing the risk of localized disruptions to mining activities and ore transportation. Surigao is also expected to receive intermittent showers throughout the week, with rainfall generally remaining light to moderate despite a wetter period around 23 July. Overall, while localized rainfall may cause temporary operational delays in some mining areas, no widespread weather system is currently expected to cause significant disruptions to regional nickel production or vessel loading activities.
