[SMM Tin News: Chongqing Increases Subsidies for Vehicle Replacement and Vehicle Retirement and Renewal]

According to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, to implement the relevant national requirements, solidly complete the concluding work of vehicle replacement and renewal in 2025, and further release automobile consumption potential, Chongqing has added another 160 million yuan in subsidy funds for vehicle replacement and renewal. Combined with the previously released 25 million yuan, the total subsidy application amount reached 185 million yuan. The application channel officially opened at 11:00 on December 27. It is understood that the subsidy application continues to follow the implementation principle of "total amount control, first-come-first-served, and closure upon exhaustion." The valid application period is from 11:00 on December 27, 2025, to 24:00 on January 10, 2026. If the 185 million yuan subsidy quota is fully applied for in advance, the application channel will close simultaneously.
