On Friday, March 21, the Peruvian government announced that Peru's copper production in January increased by nearly 7%.
In its monthly report, Peru's Ministry of Energy and Mines stated that the country's copper production in January climbed to 216,650 mt, mainly driven by increased output from MMG Ltd's Las Bambas mine and Anglo American's Quellaveco mine.
