SHANGHAI, Jun 14 (SMM) – The rainy season in Guinea lasts from May to November every year, while the dry season begins in December and ends in April. According to historical data, the production and shipment of bauxite in Guinea were affected during the rainy season. Guinea has entered the rainy season, and it is expected that imports from this country will decline slightly in the second half of the year compared with the first half. With Indonesia's export ban, Guinea has become China's top bauxite supplier. It is estimated that bauxite imports from Guinea will exceed 90 million mt in 2023, an increase of about 30% year-on-year.
