China Nickel Ore Inventories Keep Falling, SMM Reports

Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports continued falling this past week, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 4 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports continued falling this past week, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

According to SMM data, nickel ore inventories were down 90,000 tonnes on a weekly basis.

Over this past week, arrivals of ore to the Port of Yingkou were 50,000 tonnes, and the Port of Lanshan and Lianyungang will see new arrivals in the coming week, SMM expects.
