Kunming Company Launches $157M Project for Retired Power Battery Recycling and Reuse

On January 31st, the first public notice for the environmental impact assessment of the "Standardized Cascading Utilization Equipment Renovation Project for Retired Power Batteries (Phase I) of a Company in Kunming" was released. Located in Standard Factory Buildings B3-4, International Printing and Packaging City, Guandu District, Kunming City, the project has a total investment of 157 million yuan. It adopts technologies including high-compatibility rapid non-destructive testing and sorting for retired batteries, pre-treatment technology for power lithium battery recycling, and conventional battery production lines to process waste power lithium batteries and form battery module products.
