【East China's Jiangsu (Liyang): 50,000 tpa Retired Battery Recycling Project】According to industry sources, a retired power battery recycling and utilization project was officially signed and landed in Liyang, Jiangsu on September 23. With Phase I total investment of RMB 400 million, the project will revitalize 17,000 m² of idle plant space and construct two lithium battery recycling lines and one lithium battery restoration line. Upon Phase I completion, it will have an annual capacity of 50,000 tons of retired power batteries, with estimated annual sales of RMB 500 million, effectively serving the Yangtze River Delta region's retired battery recycling demand. Phase II plans to deploy 10 dedicated power battery recycling lines with a total investment exceeding RMB 1 billion, building the Yangtze River Delta region's standardized retired battery recycling demonstration base.

【South China's Guangdong (Xingning): 20,000 tpa Waste Lithium Battery Utilization Project】According to a filing disclosure, a project with two annual 20,000-ton waste lithium battery utilization production lines has been registered. With a total investment of RMB 20 million, the project is located in Xingning, Meizhou, Guangdong. The new production lines will adopt shredding, pyrolysis, crushing, and screening processes. Upon completion, the project will comprehensively utilize 20,000 tons of waste lithium batteries annually.

【Southwest China's Sichuan (Ya'an): 200,000 tpa LFP Black Mass Circular Utilization Project】According to a first-round EIA public disclosure by the local economic and technological development zone, an LFP (manganese) lithium circular utilization integrated intelligent manufacturing project has been released for public review. With a total investment of RMB 4,374.58 million, the project is located in the Yongxing Chemical Industrial Park, Ya'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan, covering approximately 300 mu with a building area of around 330,000 m². It will build a waste LFP (manganese) lithium battery black mass recovery workshop, an LFP (manganese) lithium cathode material production workshop, and supporting facilities including an ammonia station, a 110 KV substation, and environmental protection units. Upon completion, the project will achieve an annual capacity of 200,000 tons of waste LFP (manganese) lithium battery black mass processing and 200,000 tpa of LFP (manganese) lithium cathode material output.
