This week, the operating rate of die-casting zinc alloy recorded 51.67%, down 0.21 percentage points WoW. Affected by cooling end-use consumption and high-level fluctuations in zinc prices, die-casting zinc alloy enterprises slowed their raw material procurement pace. Raw material inventories decreased this week, while finished product inventories were basically flat from last week. Looking at downstream demand, domestic zipper order demand has been average recently, demand for zippers used in luggage, bags and apparel has been weak, and end-use demand for accessories and hardware has also slowed down. On export orders, orders for hardware products exported to the Middle East have been continuously declining, but orders shipped to Southeast Asia have been performing relatively normally. Downstream zinc alloy sectors have entered the seasonal consumption off-season recently, with a decline in enterprise operating. Next week, the die-casting zinc alloy operating rate is expected to continue declining to around 51.47%.
