PLN Ensures Stable Coal Supply for Power Plants, Securing Electricity During 2026 Idul Fitri Holiday

[SMM Aluminum Express News] PT PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP) and PT PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) have confirmed that coal supply for their steam power plants (PLTU) remains stable and secure. PLN IP CEO Bernadus Sudarmanta stated that operations are reliable and safe, with no coal supply disruptions. Primary energy needs are fully met through planned supply chain management and intensive coordination with suppliers. He assured that electricity supply from PLN IP-operated PLTUs will remain secure during the upcoming Idul Fitri/Lebaran holiday period in 2026. This addresses public concerns amid seasonal demand spikes and past coal logistics issues in Indonesia.
