South Africa's cumulative solar capacity likely exceeded 10 GW by the end of last year, according to analysis from the South African Photovoltaic Industry Association.

On Feb 21st, LG Energy Solution will collaborate with Estonia-based Diotech OÜ and Transcom AS on the largest battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Estonia. In the first phase, approximately €35 million (about KRW 60 billion) will be invested to build a 100MW/200MWh BESS facility. The project is targeted for completion in March next year.
