Shaanxi Boosts Power Capacity to 127GW, Invests in Grid and Renewable Energy Growth

It is learned that Shaanxi Province's power generation installed capacity has increased from 72.75 million kilowatts in 2020 to 127 million kilowatts in 2025, with the installed capacity of renewable energy growing by about 2.7 times. Meanwhile, the province has invested a total of 120 billion yuan to strengthen the power grid and expand transmission channels, making the power grid more robust and reliable.
Statistics show that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Shaanxi put into operation over 10 million kilowatts of clean and efficient coal-fired power generation capacity, and the scale of coal-fired power projects under construction that meet regulations reached a record high for the same period.
