Phumzile Mgcina, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of South Africa, introduced this plan to company executives, investors, and policymakers in attendance. She was accompanied by Dineo Mathlako, Deputy High Commissioner of South Africa to the UK.
The core of this strategy is to focus on platinum group metals, copper, manganese, and rare earth elements.
