According to the SMM survey, the capacity utilisation rate of coking enterprises last week was 77.74%, down 0.28 percentage point WoW.

Looking ahead, mainstream coke enterprises initiated price increases, but with the deepening of the off-season for steel consumption and the approaching rainy season in south China, the downward pressure on end-user steel prices may increase, leading to lower-than-expected steel mill profits. Therefore, coking enterprises are unwilling to accept coke price increases. In the short term, coke prices will remain stable, and the operating rate of coking enterprises will narrowly fluctuate.
