SMM Research: This Week's Operating Rate of Leading Enterprises in Recycled Aluminum Industry Continued to Decline

This week, the operating rate of leading recycled aluminum enterprises continued to decline by 1.2 percentage points from the previous week to 56.9%. Entering the second half of June, the downstream off-season atmosphere has become increasingly strong, and order declines have been severe. Due to poor transactions, the inventory of finished ingots in enterprises is relatively high. Taking into account inventory and cost pressures, some enterprises reduced their operating rates this week, and the scope of production cuts in the recycled aluminum industry continued to expand. It is difficult for the recycled aluminum market to improve in the short term, and the operating rate is expected to continue to decline.
