From January to May 2024, cumulative imports of alumina increased by over 60%

According to China Customs, in May 2024, China exported 101,500 mt of alumina, with cumulative exports from January to May 2024 reaching 653,500 mt. In May 2024, imports were 91,500 mt, down 15.59% MoM and down 19.6% YoY. Cumulative imports from January to May 2024 were 1.1472 million mt, up 60.33% YoY.
