Recently, Weiqiao Entrepreneurial Group held a kick-off meeting for the Weiqiao Smart Aluminum AI&L model research and development project. The aim is to promote the digitalization and intelligentization of the enterprise, and empower the traditional industry to move towards high-end and intelligentization through digital and AI technologies. This project is jointly developed by Weiqiao Information Center, Aluminum Corporation, Guoke Internet, Intelligent Technology Center, and Beijing Industrial Big Data Innovation Center. The project will build an AI intelligent algorithm model based on production big data, achieve independent decision-making control in the electrolytic aluminum industry, improve production efficiency, and extend the life of electrolytic cells.

Li Quanlin, General Manager of Weiqiao Aluminum Industry Company, stated that they should seize this opportunity to explore the application of artificial intelligence in aluminum production, promote the quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, transformation and upgrading of the aluminum industry, and facilitate intelligent and green transformation. The kick-off meeting marks an important step taken by Weiqiao in the integrated application of artificial intelligence and aluminum industry, continuously promoting the high-quality development of the enterprise.
