On June 7th, the General Administration of Customs data showed that China exported 9.631 million tons of steel in May 2024, an increase of 4.4% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 15.26%.

In May, China imported a total of 637,000 tons of steel, a decrease of 3.2% from the previous month and an increase of 0.95% year-on-year.
