On June 5, the most-traded 2407 lithium carbonate contract continued to decline by 2.44%. According to the data, the contract opened at 101,900 yuan/mt and closed at 99,800 yuan/mt, with a trading volume of 122,591 lots and an open interest of 168,133 lots (an increase of 47 lots compared to the previous trading day). Today, SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate spot price was 99,500-104,500 yuan/mt, with an average price of 102,000 yuan/mt, a decrease of 1,800 yuan/mt from the previous working day. The lithium carbonate price fluctuated downward after the opening, hitting a session low of 99,250 yuan/mt before rebounding and stabilising. After the midday opening, the most-traded contract continued to decline slightly, eventually down 2.44%.
