Wind Farms Adopt Advanced Wind-Storage Synergy Control, Reducing Annual Inspection Costs by 20 Million Yuan

【Automatic Adjustment of Wind Storage Power in Wind Farms】Can wind turbine units actively participate in the self-regulation of power grid operation? Recently, at a wind farm test site of Longyuan Electric Power Engineering Technology Corporation in Yunnan, experts in renewable energy selected a 175-kWh electrochemical energy storage device for trial installation and deployment in the wind farm, verifying the effectiveness, safety, and reliability of the adaptive协同control of wind storage. The scientific and technological project, "Research and Application of Wind Turbine Speed Regulation and Energy Storage Management", has recently passed the scientific and technological achievement identification of the China Electricity Council, reaching the international leading level. This achievement has been applied to more than 20 wind farms in Yunnan, Anhui, Jilin and other regions, completing the technical transformation of 712 megawatts of wind turbine units. It is estimated that the annual inspection cost can be reduced by about 20 million yuan.
