According to customs data, the total import volume of domestic primary aluminum in March 2024 was 249,300 tons, an increase of 11.2% month-on-month and 245.93% year-on-year. In March, the total export volume of domestic primary aluminum was 1,200 tons, a decrease of 77% year-on-year. In March, the net import volume of domestic primary aluminum was around 248,200 tons, an increase of 271.5% year-on-year.

From January to March 2024, the total import volume of domestic primary aluminum reached 721,300 tons, an increase of 224.84% year-on-year. The total export volume of domestic primary aluminum was 2,200 tons, a decrease of 75.67% year-on-year. The net import of domestic primary aluminum was 719,200 tons, an increase of 237.46% year-on-year.
