As the first quarter of 2024 comes to an end, looking back at the past three months, the overall supply of domestic bauxite has been in a tight state. Although the import of Guinean bauxite has not been substantively affected by the explosion at the Guinean oil depot and strikes, the domestic mines that have stopped production for reasons unknown have yet to resume production, and the rainy season in Australia has partially affected the production and transportation of bauxite. As a result, the domestic supply of bauxite is in a situation of undersupply.
