China’s monthly bauxite import data in February 2024 (including country rankings)

Customs data for February 2024 shows China's bauxite imports at 11.2775 million mt, down 14.58% MoM but up 0.53% YoY. Guinea led with 8.8903 million mt, down 4.26% MoM but up 12.51% YoY. Australia follows with 2.0106 million mt, down 42.15% MoM but up 0.65% YoY. Other sources include: Ghana (123,200 mt), Turkey (113,900 mt), Brazil (60,300 mt), Laos (55,500 mt), and Malaysia (23,700 mt).
