CISA: Key steel mills yielded 20.5798 million mt of crude steel in early March

In the first 10 days of March 2024, key steel mills produced 20.5798 million mt of crude steel, 18.4376 million mt of pig iron and 19.2762 million mt of finished steel. These are their daily outputs in early March and changes: crude steel (2.058 million mt, -3.38% from the previous 10-day period, -4.36% YoY, +5.05% from 2022); pig iron (1.8438 million mt, -1.82% from the previous 10-day period, -3.97% YoY, +5.77% from 2022); finished steel (1.9276 million mt, -6.65% from the previous 10-day period, -4.81% YoY, +0.73% from 2022).

These are estimated daily output nationwide in the first 10 days of March and their change from the previous 10-day period : crude steel (2.4867 million mt, -2.77%); pig iron (2.1439 million mt, -1.37%); finished steel (3.335 million mt, -3.28%).

As of March 10 2024, according to statistics, steel stocks of key steel mills was 19.5239 million mt, up 1.504 million mt or 8.35% from late February, up 3.392 million mt or 21.03% MoM, up 1.82 million mt or 10.28% YoY.
