Geely’s new energy vehicle headquarters finds home in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Geely-affiliated Ningbo Jixing Real Estate Co., Ltd. recently secured a plot of land in the Beilun area of the Yongjiang River Science and Technology Innovation Zone in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. This land will be used for the construction of Geely's new energy vehicle headquarters, with a total investment of 360 million yuan, according to information released by Ningbo’s official WeChat account “Ningbo Fabu”.

The plot is located in Xiaogang Subdistrict, bordered to the east by a planned commercial and business mixed-use area, to the south by Chenshan Road, to the west by the planned Yongjiang Avenue, and to the north by the planned Kangle Bridge Road. The land area for development is 13,666 square meters, designated for retail, catering, and business and financial use.

"After completion, this site will serve as Geely's new energy vehicle project management headquarters, equipped with functions such as R&D, procurement, sales, after-sales service, human resources, finance, administration, and others," said an internal person from Geely.

On June 25, 2021, in Ningbo, Geely Holding Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Ningbo Municipal People's Government. The two parties aim to jointly establish China's automotive industry benchmark. Additionally, it was announced that the global headquarters of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd. settled in Ningbo.
