Shanghai Zinc: Premiums rise again, traders mainly trade long orders

Mainstream traded prices of #0 zinc were 20690~20790 yuan/mt today, with 20830~20920 yuan/mt for Shuangyan zinc, and 20620~20720 yuan/mt for #1 zinc. In the morning, the premiums were 10~20 yuan/mt over the average SMM price, with premiums of -10~30 yuan/mt over the SHFE 2404 zinc contract. There were barely any trades. During the second trading session, regular domestic brands were quoted with premiums of 0~20 yuan/mt over the SHFE 2404 zinc contract. Shuangyan zinc was quoted with premiums of 140~150 yuan/mt over the SHFE 2404 contract. There were brisk purchases but few shipments today. Downstream buyers purchased on demand, and trades were mainly under long-term orders.
