Coke price may stabilise after a fourth round of cuts

There was the fourth round of coke price reduction last week. Some coking plants cut more productions, while weaker-than-expected restart of steel mills amid terminal weakness undermined coke demand. Looking forward, serious losses will make coking plants’ willingness of price hike strong, while steel mills’ poor shipments will blunt coke demand. Coke prices may remain stable this week.
