China Energy Engineering Corp signs contract for 30MW Eritrean solar photovoltaic energy storage project

China Energy Engineering Corp signs the first Eritrean solar photovoltaic energy storage project. Recently, China Energy Engineering Corp held a signing ceremony for the general contract of the first Eritrean solar photovoltaic energy storage project - the 30MW photovoltaic energy storage project in the Dekemhare area of Eritrea. China Energy Engineering Corp became the first central enterprise to enter Eritrea.

The project construction capacity is a 30MW photovoltaic power station + 15MW/30MWh energy storage system, as well as the connection to a 66kV overhead transmission line about 750 meters away. After the project is completed, it will effectively improve the local power supply, reduce electricity costs, promote energy resource diversification, and inject green energy into the power grid of Eritrea and the capital city Asmara.
