SMM Steel Shipping: China's total export volume increased 3% last week

Last week (2024.2.10-2024.2.16), the total shipping volume of steel at SMM's national ports was 4.3487 million tons, a decrease of 385,700 tons, a decrease of 8% compared to the previous period. Among them, the total shipping volume of the six major northern ports (Tangshan Port, Caofeidian, Bayuquan, Tianjin Xingang, Huanghua Port, Jinzhou Port) was 1.9172 million tons, a decrease of 37,600 tons compared to the previous period, accounting for 44% of the total shipping volume.
