Sigma Lithium Corp. Announces Increased Estimates of EV Battery Metals Reserves in Brazil
Canadian lithium mining company Sigma Lithium Corp. has announced an expansion of its estimated reserves of electric vehicle (EV) battery metals in Brazil, stating that this will enable further expansion of its production levels in the future. Sigma stated that it has increased the estimated mineral resource volume of its Grota do Cirilo project in Minas Gerais, Brazil by 27%. The Vancouver-based company stated that the project will now become the world's fourth largest industrial lithium complex in operation, with reserves totaling 1.09 billion tons.
