China aluminium scrap imports soared in November, with Malaysia remaining top supplier

According to customs data, China imported 176,200 mt of aluminium scrap in November, up 39.22% YoY and 14.27% MoM. From January to November, aluminium scrap imports totalled 1,599,000 mt, up 14.98% YoY. Malaysia was still the largest import source country, with the import volume of 31,700 mt, up by 10.82% MoM.
