Vale announces the world's first iron ore pelletizing plant in Brazil

Vale has announced that CEO Fabio Schvartsman symbolically launched the world's first iron ore pelletizing plant in the Tubarão complex in Vitória, Espírito Santo state, Brazil. The second pelletizing plant is planned to start operating in early 2024. The annual production capacity of the two pelletizing plants will reach 6 million tons, with a total investment of $256 million and the peak construction period creating 2,300 jobs.
