China nickel sulphate imports skyrocketed YoY in October  

Customs data showed that China imported 3,078 mt of nickel sulphate in nickel content in October 2023, down 3% MoM and up 248% YoY. Exports were 607 mt in nickel content, up 423% MoM and 21128% YoY. This brought net imports to 2471 mt in nickel content, down 19% MoM and up 180% YoY. Delayed order pick-up by South Korean buyers to October was the main reason for the surge in exports. Net imports are expected to be largely stable in November.
